Finally i can smile again after i am all well again. Everyone was looking forward to this day when i am more alert and can smile again. I am happy myself as i have got new toys from mummy when i was sick to encourage me to get well soon. Kudos to my parents as well as my Grandparents for taking good care of me and to withstand my crying tantrums in this period of time. May i not be sick anymore.
Look at how covered i am and you will know i am sick. Indeed i am, and i was running a high fever in fact. My fever lasted nearly a week with my anxious parents being so worried. Especially my mummy whom did not sleep a wink looking after me most nights and taking leaves to look after me too in the day. I was nearly admitted. Thankfully my mummy's prayers were answered in the nick of time and i recovered in no time.
This is me and my Grandaunt's maid Aunt Mini. Sadly she is leaving us to go back to her country to look after her son. This is in fact my last picture taken with her, and she cried too cos she is sad to leave us but have no choice. I will miss her lots too cos after all she did look after me every sunday and also to cook my delicious porridge. Aunt Mini promised to come back to see me one day, sob sob..
This is just how strong i am. My parents brought me to the science centre one weekend, and i ended up trying to hold down one bull, and i did it by sitting on top and holding it's horns. The science centre has nothing much that interest me as a matter of fact, i did not understand anything at all. So, my parents say they will bring me to the zoo next which hopefully i will not fall asleep like i did in the science centre. I am looking forward to seeing lions and the famous white tigers though.
This is my play and study zone at home. This "ABC" table and sheep stool is what my parents recently bought me from kidzlot. Every night, my parents leave me here to play by myself. And my mummy will read books to me here too. The leapfrog caterpillar is my favourite toy of mine now as it teaches me alot of things. Thanks Grandaunt Ann for this wonderful toy.
Hee, my parents brought me to kidsloft (kid's shop) with Auntie Sharon and Uncle Hock, Auntie Eileen and Little Vera last saturday. I had a good time sitting alone playing with the toys on display as seen here, and my parents had ample shopping time without me disturbing them while they shop for more toys and other stuff for me. They bought me a nice table complete with two stools, and some other items. Everyone bought something and all were happy. Too bad, i cannot choose what i want, or i will ask mummy to buy me this toy that i was playing.
Me having my hair cut. This is only my second time, the first was when i was going to turn one month old. This hair cut is done specially at a kid's hair salon, and mummy complains it is very expensive, at $18. But i get a free balloon and also stickers lah. But my parents want me to look good so they say only professional kid's stylist can cut my hair. I was quite obedient throughout the hair cut, and i was rewarded with a cool square top. Now i feel lots cooler with this new short hairdo.
This is how i look after my new hair cut. Stylo right...But mummy says i look even fatter now as my hair is so short now and makes me look more round. Does this imply i must keep long hair in future then ha ha..
I sure know how to enjoy myself after a good dinner. I lie on my daddy's big round tummy to watch tv with him. So shiok to lie down like that. Daddy calls me his little emperor.
This is how my birthday cake looks from the side. Many people did not notice it, but it spells my name Alden. This is also how my mummy wanted. Overall, i am pleased not just with the cakes, but how the party went. I just knew i can count on my mummy as she was a former party girl before she had me.
These look so adorable mickey mouse cupcakes are for the kids (me included of course). These cuppies look so cute that even the adults are hopping to lay their hands on it. But these little cuppies do not come cheap. Heard mummy saying it cost $2.80 per mini cupcake. But it was money well spent as the cuppies tasted good too.
This is my Birthday Cake. It is a customised mickey mouse cake that my mummy wanted. We all like the end result and the cake looks good as well as tasted good. It looks so good that the guests did not want to eat it initially, until i started the ball rolling by having mine ha ha..One year old is good, i can eat anything and everything now.
My parents with my Godma Eve and her hubby Uncle Marcel. Noticed my parents wearing this very cute mickey mouse tee with the wordings "Happy Family"? I have this same tee to wear too. Mummy specially ordered these tees for us to wear as a family for my Birthday. Sad that Godma Eve could not bring her kids here to play with me as they were in Genting. They came early even before the party, hence my parents still had the time to take this picture with them. Cos once the party started, they had no time and even forgot to take more pictures.
This is the specially created envelop for the instant photos taken at my party to be given to guests. Very cool right, it is something personalized just for me.
Mummy got someone to do these letterings with 2 posters of my face for the background of the photo taking. Mummy hired 2 girls to take instant pictures of the guests. They were all delighted to be able to take pictures with either their own families or with me, and to take some pictures back instantly as a memento. Kudos to my mummy for this great idea. Even my guests were impressed.
The backdrop of the area for my cake cutting. Thanks to my parents, my Grandparents and my Grandaunt and Uncle that helped to decorate this place just before all the guests arrived. Mummy had a mickey mouse themed party for me, and she really put in effort to source for all the mickey mouse items online and in shops. My parents and i even wore the same mickey mouse outfit for the party, united family indeed.
This is where i held my first birthday. My parents promised me a big bash and boy was i not disappointed at all. I was so happy to be the main focus that day, and everyone seems to be fighting to carry, hug or kiss me. Finally the day i turned one has arrived. This is the multi-purpose hall of my party, very big and nice place that mummy found.
Was in IMM after my birthday party with my relatives and parents. My Gong Gong took me out for a walk outside and saw this toy muscial car and let me sit on it. Too bad, it says that it is meant for bigger children from 2-6 years old, or my Gong Gong would have inserted money for me to play. Cant they be more lenient since it is my birthday, after all i am already offically one. I love cars like daddy..
Shopping trip with my parents, and this is the first time i sit in the trolley like this. I love it man. And like a mountain tortoise, i was so happy to be able to grab anything i want from there, especially when i was in the toys department. My parents were happier still to be hands free though.

Overheard my mummy telling my daddy that they should bring me down to the playground to play one of these nights..hooray..
Me and Ma Ma took this picture from the newly renovated West Coast shopping complex, formerly known as Ginza Plaza. It was very beautifully decorated and Christmas mood fills the entire centre as there were Christmas decor everywhere. Ma Ma requested to take this picture with me, but they had a hard time making me concentrate though cos i hate taking pictures just like my daddy. Finally can only take a picture of me smiling but looking distracted elsewhere.
Mummy sent me to camp at such a tender young age (Read: It is in fact just my Grandaunt's house lah). I was so thrilled to be wearing this, as i know i will be donning this kind of attire in like another 18 years from now. Daddy says by then i will not be as excited as now ha..
